Discover who Brian and Cara Salley are.
In April of 1993, God miraculously delivered Brian from a life of sin and filled him with the Holy Ghost. Since then, Brian has passionately pursued God and the ministry that He has called him to. Cara also received salvation and the baptism of the Holy Ghost during high school. She came from a family with a Catholic / Atheist background, and God did a miraculous work in her life.
In 2001, after graduating from Rhema Bible Training College, Brian and Cara stepped out into their first full-time ministry position. Since then, God has led them on a journey of ministry, allowing them to serve in every area, from Children’s Pastors, to Ministry of Helps (Ushers, Women’s Ministry, Secretary), and on to pastoring a church for four years in Gulf Shores, AL. Both Brian and Cara are both licensed and ordained with Rhema Ministerial Association International.
In the spring of 2011, after sixteen years of ministry, God began speaking to their hearts that “Now is the time.” This was confirmation for Brian and Cara that it was time to step out into world missions: the ministry that God had shown both of them from the time He had first called them to ministry.
He gave direction for them to go “from the English to the French” and they went in obedience to the UK. After ministering in England for five years, holding Simplify Soul Winning seminars, training in personal evangelism, teaching in and overseeing Bible Schools, God directed them to transition to France.
The Salleys moved to Haute-Savoie in a rural and mountainous area where the gospel message wasn’t without opposition. However, God gave them the phrase “Difficile mais pas impossible” which means “Difficult but not impossible”, based on Jesus’ words from Matthew 19:26 “with God all things are possible”.
After several years, Brian and Cara were responsible for overseeing the planting of a church in a small town called Douvaine where they taught the transforming Word of God and helped in the community. Having walked with the church for a number of years, their specific focus is now to serve in the harvest fields in the small towns and villages across the whole of France and beyond.
Now, with a refined vision to bring together their years of experience and equip believers with simplified resources, Brian and Cara are excited to see Simplify Ministries harvest many more harvesters in France and beyond in the years to come!
